Little Alice Rattery
This blog will be where I post updates on current litters, progress with my lines, and any other pertinent information about the rattery!
As the title says, we've moved! Quite a distance too!
We are now located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was a massive move that exhausted everyone, from humans to puppy dog to rats. Because of this, I have not had any recent pairings, and do not expect my next pairing until around October 19th. This is due to wanting to make absolutely sure my rats have acclimated to the new environment and recovered from the stress of such a huge move. The air is drier here than in NY, and there were some sniffles and an ear infection due mostly to the altitude (we went from 500 feet above sea level, to almost five thousand feet! My ears still haven't popped...). Everyone has healed up rather nicely, but I still want to wait a few weeks more to make sure nothing else pops up. Their health is far more important to me than furthering their lines as quickly as possible. I also have some adults up for adoption that I realized I don't need for future breeding. They are all super sweet and affectionate! If you are interested, their adoption fee is half considering they are older. They are for pet homes only, please. Thank you for sticking with us during all the changes! I promise it will be worth it!

Skelly and Gamma both gave birth within the same week! This is incredibly exciting, as these are my first two litters as an official rattery. Both mama's are doing really well, even though Gamma gave birth to TWENTY pups!
